JIH Arkan Ijtema begins in New Delhi


The Four day Arkan Ijtema of JIH started on 4th November at its head quarter in New Delhi, with the Tazkeer of Maulana Yusuf Islahi. Maualan Jalaluddin Ansar Umari


The national President of JIH made the key note address on this occasion. In his address he presented the present scenario of the world in general and India in particular.

He told that Science and technology is being developed rapidly. But on the other side half of the population of the world is living in below poverty line, and majority of the population's daily income is just 20 rupee a day. Speaking on human rights violation he said, every where in the world human rights are violating. Those who talks of it they could not present the model of it or follow it.


While talking on minority he told that the constitution of India has given equal rights to all but minorities were deprived of their rights. He also told that with the power of wealth every thing is purchased.


Every religion is trying to dominant over other. Instead of knowing what is true and what is wrong the people started to discriminate. But as Islam is the universal religion the success of humanity is lies in Islam. Materialism has damaged the social structure and as a result crime injustice, inequality and the degradation of moral values have been on the peak. Islam provides solution to all these problems. It's the responsibility of Ummah to disseminate the message of Islam in these circumstances. He also told that Jamaat always paid heed to the problems of Ummah form its inception.

At the end, he urged the Ummah in general and Arkan in particular to disseminate the message of Islam accordingly.

Inaugural address
The President at the inaugural address of the All India Members' Conference emphasised that though the world has made immense progress in technology, the world has ushered in an era of economic crises. This conditions have led to poverty, deprivation, exploitation & conflict and violations of basic human rights.
The world is passing through a strong phase of moral degradation with permissiveness and sexual anarchy are being promoted and deviant sexual behaviour is being glamorised.
The President reiterated the motto and the goals of establishing a just and peaceful society in the country. As the country is going through a phase of elections, the President stressed that the democratic values that Islam presents need to be strongly upheld so that the nation recognizes that JIH is here for a progressive and just nation.
The world declares of a secular ideology for the democratic governance of countries, Maulana Umeri emphasised the message of Islam as the only alternative to the present world crisis of democratic values. The JIH President urged for a proactive role in making the message heard by the masses as an alternate to the present system of governance.
Concluding his Inaugural Address, Maulana Umeri called on the Members of the JIH to utilise the valuable opportunity the free society offers to convey the healthy message of Islam.
Men and Women are not Competitors & Rivals but to basic entities of a better Society: Sis. Atiya 



“Men and women are not competitors & rivals but 2 basic entities of a better Society”, exclaimed Sister Atiya Siddiqua, Organisor, Women's Wing, Jamaat-e-Islami Hind (JIH) as she addressed thousands of men and women at the ongoing JIH Conference being held in Delhi.

Sis Atiya was speaking on the topic “"Challenges Before Women Today & Role of Islamic Movement". Attacking the concept of women empowerment, she said, it has brought in a rift between men and women and serves as a great challenge for women in the society. Increasing cases of domestic violence, female foeticide, declining sex ratio are some of the major concerns and challenges that women face today.
In the behest of modernisation and fashion, she emphasised, beauty contests have paved the way for nudity and vulgarity. Live-in relationship, extra-marital affairs, consumerism and materialism are few if not all the challenges the women face in the world today, she continued.
She called on the delegates to play a proactive role in changing this face of the society and building a better society which is family based and gives women their rights and keeps a vigil on the negative prophecy and portrayal women.
